Quarto Fairies & Gnomes|Games < Find the Fairies Memory Game

Discover magical fairies from around the globe with this beautifully illustrated matching game. Inspired by the popular book A Natural History of Fairies from the Folklore Field Guides series, the cards in Find the Fairies Memory Game showcase naturalist illustrations of fairy species from various regions, such as the Alpine Sprite, Savannah Fairy, Rainforest Nymph, and Polar Wanderer.

The included booklet not only explains the game rules but also acts as a field guide to the fairy species on the cards. It details their habitats, dwellings, distinctive features, and habits. For example, learn how the Firefly Sprite uses bioluminescence to navigate bamboo forests in China and how the Himalayan Oread hibernates in snowy burrows but descends to meadows in summer to feed on flower nectar.

To play, arrange the cards face down, then flip two over. If they match, you collect the pair. If not, remember their locations to make a match on your next turn. Test your memory and learn about diverse fairies while playing. Collect more pairs than your opponent to win!
