About Joguines Grapat: Joguines Grapat is a small, family run workshop in Spain, producing rainbow-colored toys in wood that adhere to strict European safety procedures. Using mostly beech and birch wood from sustainable forests, all Grapat toys are finished with water-based, non-toxic dyes and vegetable oils.
Wood is a natural material and as such, has various unique markings. Variations in wood grain, color, knots, texture or dye transfer are all natural occurrences in these hand-stained wooden products. These unique variations and markings are proof of quality, not defects. Enjoy the markings that make your wooden toys unique!
About Grapat
In the Catalan language, the word grapat means “a handful” and eachGrapat product is inspired by the beautiful idea of carrying a handful of loose pieces with care and passing them into the hands of children. The motto of this small, family run Spanish company is “be free, play open” as everything they create promotes imagination and open-ended play. These exquisitely hand-crafted wooden toysoriginate from sustainable forests and are painted with dyes that come directly from nature and will be treasured for generations.
