Auris Wooden Toys|7+ Years < Curved Pentatonic Glockenspiel

This high quality Pentatonic Glockenspiel from Aurisproduces clear, pure tones that create a lovely sound experience for young children.

Like our other pentatonic instruments, this glockenspiel uses a five-note scale, tuned to the following notes:

D-E-G-A-B-d-e

The bars are coated with a fine layer of beeswax to enhance the luster of the brass. The hardwood maple body is finished with wood varnish and beeswax polish.

Because all the notes are in harmony with one another, any song youplay will sound beautiful and in tune, even if you are not a musician and can’t read music.

The gently curved body and bright, clear tone of this instrument makes it ideal for a parent or teacher to play for a child.

If you are looking for a glockenspiel for a child to play, please see our , which is easier for a child to hold and has a more mellow tone.

Note:Because musical notation is different in northern Europe where the Auris Glockenspiel is made, the note B is represented by the letter H on this instrument.
